2023-09-04: D3 student Mr. K. Skanashi won the Best Poster Presentation Award in the 1st IReNA-UKAKUREN Joing workshop. Congratultion!!
2023-08-16: Dr. S. Iimura, an alumnus of our group (currently an assistant professor at Rikkyo University won the RIBF Users Group Thesis Awards for his Ph.D. work on precise mass measurement of neutron-rich V and Ti isotopes. Congratulation!
2023-06-30: Mrs. S. Sato, who has served as our secretary for four and a half years, has retired, and we are delighted to welcome Mrs. Y. Nakano as her successor.
2023-06-27: Our results on the photodisintegration reaction of ⁴He with the MAIKo acrive target has been published in Phys. Rev. C.
2023-04-01: The 7 undergraduate students and 5 M1 students have joined our group.
2022-03-25: B4 student, Mr. S. Ishitani won Physical Society of Japan Student Excellence Presentation Award. Congratulation!!.
2023-03-23: The 8 master-course students and 8 undergraduate students have graduated from Osaka University. We wish their successful future!
2023-01-06: Ph.D. work (precise mass measurement of neutron-rich V and Ti isotopes) by Dr. S. Iimura, an alumnus of our group (currently an assistant professor at Rikkyo University) has been published in Phys. Rev. Lett. and press-released.
2022-10-27: Dr. S. Adachi, an alumnus of our group (currently an assistant professor at CYRIC, Tohoku University) and Dr. Y. Minami (specially appointed assistant professor at RCNP), received the 17th Young Scientist Award of the Physical Society of Japan. Congratulations!!
2022-10-01: Mr. Samu Eteläniemi has joined our group as a Special Auditing Student.
2022-10-01: M1 student, Mr. T. Sugisaki has left for a one-year study abroad at TRIUMF in Canada. Good luck!
2022-04-27: M1 student, Mr. T. Sugisaki won Physical Society of Japan Student Excellence Presentation Award . Congratulation!!.
2022-04-25: Our recent work on nuclear structures in ¹⁴⁰Xe has been published in Phys. Rev. C.
2022-04-07: D1 student, Ms. M. Fukutome won Award for Excellent Research by Female Graduate Students in Osaka University. Congratulation!!.
2022-04-07: D2 student, Mr. K. Sakanashi won Award for Excellent Poster Presenations at the Joint Symposium between Osaka University and Hamburg. Congratulation!!.
2022-04-01: The 8 undergraduate students have joined our group, and the 6 students who graduated in March have enterd the graduate school.
2022-03-31: Dr. S. Adachi and Dr. S. Iimura have moved to CYRIC, Tohoku University and Department of Physics, Rikkyo University as assistant professors, respectively. In addition, the six M2 students and two B4 students have left our group for their new endeavors. We wish their successful futures!!
2022-03-31: Prof. K. Matsuta gave the final lecture and retired from Osaka University. Thank you for your efforts over the years.
2022-03-28: M2 student, Mr. R. Tatsumi won the master thesis award by the J-PARC Hadron Users Association. Congratulations!!
2022-02-15: UKAKREN (Japan Forum of Nuclear Astrophysics) published a 2022 calendar "Women who Made Nuclear Astrophysics" introducing 12 female researchers who made great contribtuions to nuclear astrophysics. 2021-10-12: Our recent work on the GAGG scintillation detector has been published in Journal of Instrumentation.
2021-06-24: Our recent work on the alpha condensed state in the alpha condensed state in ²⁰Ne has been published in Phys. Lett. B and press-released.
2021-05-11: M1 students, Mr. G. Takayama and Ms.K. Himi won Physical Society of Japan Student Excellence Presentation Award .

2021-03-31: Prof. Atsuhi Sakaguchi has moved to Center for the Study of Higher Education and Global Admissions, Osaka University. He will continue to colloaborate with us after the transfer.
